TMS Navigation

TMS Navigator is a versatile and configurable navigation system for transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). TMS Navigator can be customized to your specific needs and preferences. With TMS Navigator, you can plan and monitor the placement of stimulation areas and the positioning of the patient and coil. This ensures accuracy and safety during the TMS procedure.

Benefits:

  • TMS Navigator is highly adaptable to your workflow needs, whether you’re looking for pragmatic improvements to clinical routine or comprehensive features for new research. Plus, it’s extensible for even more customization.

  • Our navigated brain stimulation solution is the most flexible and versatile on the market. Whether you have individual image data or not, our solution can be tailored to your needs.

  • The MR scanner features advanced navigation capabilities for research purposes. This high-end solution provides an efficient way to conduct research.

  • The TMS Robot by Axilum Robotics is a top-of-the-line automatic coil positioner that is intriniscally safe.

  • You can choose to operate your navigation system with or without an MRI. If you do use an MRI, you can either use a dataset from a single MRI scan, or you can use a standard model that has been individualized to your needs. These options are not mutually exclusive: You can use both variants in your configuration.

MR-based system

The MR-based system is ideal for those who wish to navigate using individual MRI data. With this system, you have extensive possibilities to utilize individual anatomical and functional data to plan magnetic stimulation.

MR-less system

The MR-Less System is designed for navigated stimulation, even if no individual MRI is available. For this purpose, a standard dataset will be warped to match the individual’s head. Coil positions will be documented and can be safely reproduced in subsequent sessions.

  • If you need a little more customization, our configurable components option lets you configure hardware and software components to your specific needs. This way, you can get a system that’s tailored to your budget and requirements.

  • Functional Data is a powerful tool that lets you import and work with functional MRI or nuclear medicine images. With support for DICOM, NIfTI, Analyze and Interfile formats, Localite TMS Navigator makes it easy to register your images and get started. Once your images are registered, you can overlay functional information and adjust the visualization to better suit your needs. This allows you to incorporate preinterventional functional data into your stimulation planning for better results.

  • You’ll be guided through the process of acquiring electrode positions step-by-step. You can select from a list of predefined EEG system patterns, or create your own. You can export the patterns into different coordinate systems (DICOM, MNI, Talairach), even without anatomical data.

  • The MagVenture Stimulator Connection Package allows you to link your MagVenture Stimulator with your TMS Navigator. This way, you can view important information like temperature or amplitude directly in the software interface. Additionally, this package allows for two-way communication between the stimulator and the software. This makes it easier to exchange important parameters between the two systems.

  • Stimulation Response Export allows you to export data on the location and amplitude of stimulation, along with the responses it elicits (e.g. MEPs), as functional image data. This lets you create a comprehensive documentation of stimulation and its effects, which can be imported into a navigation system at any time in the future.

  • The MR-Compatible Edition of Localite TMS Navigator is a specially adapted version of our regular product to function safely in MRI environments. Our long-standing experience with research partnerships involving interventional MRI made this solution possible. We carefully selected materials and special electronic filters that allow the navigational system to be used alongside the tomograph.
