Magstim EGI system
The EGI System 400 (GES 400) is a new generation of EEG products that introduces the Net Amps 400 series of amplifiers with EGI’s ADAPT technology and completely redesigned Net Station 5 suite of software for EEG acquisition, review, and analysis. The GES 400 series products provide a strong foundation for the growing neuroscience laboratory.
Sensors evenly spaced across the entire head provides full scalp coverage for the best data resolution. You can choose from 32, 64, 128, or 256 channels.
GES products are designed to be scalable so that they can grow with your lab. You can start with a small system and add more channels or additional features as your needs change. This flexibility ensures that your investment will continue to pay off for years to come.
The GES 400 product line is designed for compatibility with a variety of imaging modalities, including MR, MEG, and EEG-TMS. With upgrade modules, these products can be used in multimodal imaging environments.
Geodesic EEG is a high-density EEG system that uses 32-256 electrodes placed evenly over the scalp, cheeks, and neck. This provides dense and even sampling of brain activity, allowing for high spatial resolution without the need for interpolation between sensors.
Components:
Geodesic Sensor Net (GSN)
EGI’s Geodesic Sensor Net is a quick and easy way to apply dense arrays of sensors. Up to 256 sensors can be applied in minutes. The GSN gently holds each silver/silver chloride electrode sensor in place, without the need for head measurements or glues. And no scalp abrasion is necessary to get high-quality EEG data. Use with a simple saline solution for shorter recordings, or an inexpensive paste or gel for long-term recording. The result is a comfortable and low stress experience for your participants.
Net Amps 400 amplifiers
The Net Amps 400 amplifiers are designed to be used with EGI’s GSN. They provide the low noise and high sensitivity required for acquiring high-quality EEG data. The Net Amps 400 smart amplifier also has a built-in Intel chip that allows for remote updates.
Net Station software
The Net Station 5 software suite from EGI provides comprehensive acquisition, review, and analysis capabilities in a single package with a user-friendly interface and faster processing speeds. Data files are saved in Metafile Format (MFF), which can be exported to the EDF+ format, MATLAB, EEGLAB, FieldTrip, or your own custom software.
